Which of the following function is not periodic ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

A function is periodic if `f(x) = f(x+T)`.
So, we can check for the given options.
(1) `(2^(x+T))/(2^[[x+T]]) = (2^x)/(2^[[x]])`
`=>(2^x2^T)/(2^[[x+T]]) = = (2^x)/(2^[[x]])`
`=>(2^T)/(2^[[x+T]]) = = 1/(2^[[x]])`
If we check, for `T = 0`, we can see that given function is periodic.
