The value of `m=1`

The given points are `A(m ,-1),\ B(2,1)a n d\ C(4,5)`

Now,

`vec(AB)=(2 hat i + hat j)-(m hat i- hat j)=(2-m) hat i+ 2 hat j`

`vec(AC)=(4 hat i+5 hat j)-(m hat i - hat j)=(4-m) hat i+6 hat j`

If `A,B,c` are collinear, then

`vec(AB)=lambda vec(AC)`

`rArr (2-m) hat i+ 2 hat j=lambda((4-m) hat i+6 hat j)`
