Prove that the following vectors are non coplanar: `3 hat i+ hat j- hat k ,\ 2 hat i- hat j+7 hat k\ a n d\ 7 hat i- hat j+23 hat k`

We are given the vectors

`vec A=3 hat i+ hat j- hat k`

`vec B= 2 hat i- hat j+7 hat k`

`vec C=7 hat i- hat j+23 hat k`

Now to show non-coplanar of the vectors we must satisfy the condition
`[ vec(A) quad vec(B) quad vec(C)] != 0`

`rArr |[3,1,-1],[2,-1,7],[7,-1,23]|`

`=3[(-1)(23)-(7)(-1)]-(1)[(2)(23)-(7)(7)]+(-1)[(2)(-1)-(-1)(7)]`
