`A D` is the median of `triangle A B C ,`
`vec (AB)=vec b`
`vec (AC)=vec c`
`vec(AD)=(vec b+vec c)/2`
`LHS=A B^2+A C^2`
`=|vec AB|^2+|vec AC|^2`
`=b^2+c^2`
`vec(CD)=(vec b+vec c)/2-vec c=(vec b-vec c)/2`
`RHS=2(A D^2+C D^2)`
`=2[|(vecb+vec c)/2|^2+|(vec b-vec c)/2|^2]`
`=2/4[|vec b+vec c|^2+|vec b-vec c|^2]`
`=1/2[|vec b|^2+|vec c|^2+2 vec b vec c+|vec b|^2+|vec c|^2-2 vec b vec c]`
`=(2(|vec b|^2+|vec c|^2))/2`
`=b^2+c^2`
`therefore A B^2+A C^2=2(A D^2+C D^2)`
