Given two independent events A and B suc...

Given two independent events A and B such that `P(A)=0. 3\ a n d\ P(B)=0. 6` . Find: `P(AuuB)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given P(A)=0.3, P(B)=0.6.

`P(A or B )`:

`P(A cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A cap B)`

`Rightarrow P(A cup B)=0.3+0.6-0.18=0.72` .
