Duuring menopause, the level of estrogen in the blood decreases. Thus, estrogen can no longer inhibit the producction of FSH and LH. Therefore, FSH and LH (mainly FSH) are produced after menopause in large quantities and these (mainly FSH) are excreted out in urine.
