A straight cylindrical wire is connected...

A straight cylindrical wire is connected to a battery. The wire is maintained at constant temperature of `T_(1)` when the room temperature is `T_(0)(ltT_(1))`. The wire is disconnected from the battery and half of it is cut-off. The remaining half of the wire is connected to the same battery in the same room. Find the constant temperature `(T_(2))` attained by the wire. Assume that wire loses heat to the atmosphere through radiation from curved surface only.
