To stitch a shirt 2m 15cm cloth is needed. Out of 40m cloth, how many shirts can be stitched and how much cloth will remain?

cloth needed = `2m 15cm`
`= 200cm + 15cm = 215 cm`
cloth given = `40*100cm = 4000cm`
no of shirts that can be stitched is =`4000 -: 215`
`= 18 `
and the cloth remain will be `= 130cm` (remainder)
