Add the rational numbers: (i)`-3/1` and `3/5`
(ii) `(-7)/(27)` and `(11)/(18)`

(i) Add `-3` and `(3/5)`
`=-3+(3/5)`

Taking LCM, we get LCM as `5`

`=(-15+3)/5`
`=-12/5`

We get the answer as `-12/5`.

(ii) Add `-7/27` and `(11/18)`
`=(-7/27)+(11/18)`

Taking LCM, we get LCM as `54`

`=(-14+33)/54`
`=19/54`

We get the answer as `19/54`.
