What number should be subtracted from `3/7` to get `5/4?`

Let the other number subtracted be `x` to get `5/4`.
Now,
`3/7-x=5/4`
`-x=5/4-3/7`
Taking LCM, we get the LCM as `28`.

`-x=23/28`
`x=-23/28`.
Hence, the other number is `-25/28`.
