To find:`(x+y)+(x-y)`
(i)`x=5/4, y=(-1)/3`
`=((5/4)+-1/3)+((5/4)--1/3)`
`=(15-4)/12+(15+4)/12`
`=(11+19)/12`
`=30/12`
`=5/2`
(ii) `x=2/7, y=4/3`
`(2/7+4/3)+(2/7-4/3)`
`=(6+28)/21+(6-28)/21`
`=(36-22)/21`
`=14/21`
`=2/3`
(iii) `x=1/4, y=3/2`
`=(1/4+3/2)+(1/4-3/2)`
`=(2+12)/8+(2-12)/8`
`=(14-10)/8`
`=4/8`
`=1/2`
