Find m so that (2/9)^3xx\ (2/9)^(-6)={(2...

Find `m` so that `(2/9)^3xx\ (2/9)^(-6)={(2/9)^(2m)}^(-1)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Using the law of exponent, `{a^m xxa^-n=a^(m-n)}`,
`(2/9)^(3-6)=(2/9)^(-2m)`
`(2/9)^-3=(2/9)^(-2m)`
As base are same, so we will equate the powers.
`-3=-2m`
`3/2=x`.
