(i)`x/2+x/3+x/4=13`
`=>6x+3x+4x=156`
`=>13x=156`
`=>x=12`
On verifying,
LHS
`=>6+4+3=12`
`=>12=12`
Hence verified.(ii) `x/2+x/8=1/8`
`=> (4x + x)/8 = 1/8`
`=> 5x = 1`
`=> x = 1/ 5`
On verifying,
LHS`=5 xx 1/5=1=`RHS
Hence verified.
