Find the area of a trapezium with a base of 15cm and height 8cm, if the side parallels to the given base is 9cm long.

Given
base of trapezium `=15cm`,
height `=8cm`
side parallel to given base `=9cm`.
we need to find area of trapezium.
we know that,
area of trapezium `=(1/2)xx(sum of parallel sides) xx height`
`=(1/2)xx(15+9)xx8`
`=24xx4`
`=96cm^2`.
Hence ,area of trapezium `=96cm^2`.
