How many bricks of size `22 c m\ xx\ 10 c m\ xx\ 7c m` are required to construct a wall 33m long, 3.5m high and 40cm thick, if cement and sand used in the construction occupy `1/(10)t h\ ` part of the wall?

Verified by Experts

Volume of the brick is V₁ = '22 x 10 x 7'
Wall size '11' m long, '3.5m' wide and '40' cm thick
Converting into same unit,
1 m=100 cm
Length 11 m = 1100 cm
Height 3.5 m-350 cm
Width = 40 cm
Volume of the wall is Vw = '1100 x 350 × 40'
According to question,
Number of bricks
='(1/10)'*Volume of the wall/Volume of the brick
Number of bricks` '(1 /10)*1100x350x40/22x10x7'`
Number of bricks = `1000`
