Find out pressure at points A and B also find angle `theta`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Pressure at `A - P_(A) = P_(atm) - rho_(1) gl sin theta`
Pressure at `B P_(B) = P_(atm) + rho_(2) gh theta`
But `P_(B)` is also equal to `P_(B) = P_(A) + rho_(3) gl sin theta`
Hence - `P_(atm) + rho_(2)gh = P_(A) + rho_(3) gl sin theta`
`P_(atm) + rho_(2) gh = P_(atm) - rho_(1) gl sin theta + rho_(3) gl sin theta`
`sin theta = (rho_(2)h)/((rho_(3) - rho_(1)l)`.
