Initially, the charge on the first capacitor,
`Q_1= C_1V_1= (5xx10^(-6))xx16= 80xx10^(-6)C`
and charge on the second capacitor,
`Q_2= C_2V_2= (10xx10^(-6))xx10= 100xx10^(-6)C`
Net charge, `Q= Q_1+Q_2=180xx10^(-6)C`
Eqivalent capacitance of the parallel combination,
`C = C_1+C_2= (5+10)muF= 15xx10^(-6)F`
Common potential of the combination,
`V= (Q)/(C )= (180xx10^(-6))/(15xx10^(-6))=12V`
