Can we compare the two resistance `1Omega and 100Omega` accurately with the help of a metre bridge ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Metre bridge works on the principle of a Wheatstone bridge becomes very sensitive when the resistance of the four arms are nearly equal . Then the resistance can be compared accurately . Obviously , `1Omega and 100 Omega` cannot be compared accurately with the help of a metre bridge .
