Is the filament of the lamp marked '240V-1000W' thin or thick comparison to the filament of the lamp marked '240 V-100W ' ?

power , `P+(V^(2))/(R)" or, " R=(V^(2))/(P)`
So , if same potential differnce is applied to both the lamps , resistance of the lamp having large power will be less than that of the lamp having less power , Again , larger the cross sectional area (A) of a conducting wire (filament ) , smaller will be its resistance `("since"Rprop(1)/(A))` . So , the filament of100 W lamp will be thicker than that of 100 W lamp .
