Two electric bulbs of 50 W and 100 W are connected in mains once in
(ii) prallel combi-nation . Which bulb will glow brighter in each case ?

In parallel combination 100 W bulb will glow brighter than 50 W bulb .
When the bulbs are connected in parallel combination potential difference across each one is same .
As , heat generation is proportional to `(V^(2))/(R)` ,that’s why 100 w bulb glows brighter than 50 W bulb in parallel combination .
