Is the electronegativity of Sn^(2+) and ...

Is the electronegativity of `Sn^(2+) and Sn^(4+)` equal or different?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Elements in higher oxidation state have higher electronegativity compared to the elements in lower oxidation state. Thus `Sn^(4+)` is more electronegative than `Sn^(2+)`.
