Given, `P_(1)=90cm" Hg",P_(2)=70cm" "Hg,V_(1)=1.2L&V_(2)=?`
For the relation, `P_(1)V_(1)=P_(2)V_(2)`, we have
`V_(2)=(P_(1)V_(1))/(P_(2))=(90" cm Hg"xx1.2L)/(70" cm Hg")=1.54L`.
thus, the volume of air at 70 cm Hg is 1.54 L.
