Given, `V=5mL=5xx10^(-3)L,T=273-100=173K`
and `n=("number of moles")/("Avogadro's number")=(3xx10^(4))/(6.022xx10^(23))=4.98xx10^(-20)` mol [`because` Argon is monoatomic]
`therefore P=(nRT)/(V)`
`=(4.98xx10^(-20)molxx0.0821LL*atm*mol^(-1)*K^(-1)xx173K)/(5xx10^(-3)L)`
As, 1 atm=760 torr,
`P=(1.414xx10^(-16)xx760)=1.074xx10^(-13)` torr
`=1.074xx10^(-7)` microtorr [`because` 1 torr=`10^(6)` microtorr]
Therefore, the pressure of argon vapour `=1.074xx10^(-7)` microtorr.
