In Ellingham diagram, `(Cu, Cu_(2)O)` line lies above `(C, CO)` line at lower temperature whereas `(C, CO)` line lies below `(Zn, ZnO)` line at higher temperature (above 1180 K). Thus reduction of ZnO in presence of coke takes place at higher temperature.
