In the bessemer converter `Cu_(2)S` is partly converted into `Cu_(2)O` by blowing a current of hot air and then `Cu_(2)S` reduces `Cu_(2)O` to copper, therefore, it can be said that metallic copper is obtained by simply roasting its ore,
