1) The transport system of organised plants consists os xylem and phloem.
2) Xylem which has vessels and trachieds transports water and minerals from root to other parts of the plant.
3) Phloem which consists of sieve tubes, sieve cells and companian cells transports food from leaves to storage organs and other parts of the plants.
4) In xylem the transport is unidirectional i,e., from root upward while in phloem it is bidirectional.
