How does sex determination happen in human?

I agree with the statement that male is responsible for sex determinationl of baby.
1. there are two types of sex chromosomes in human beings, one is X and other is 'Y' Female have two "X" chromosomes in their cells (XX) whereas male hae one 'X' and other is 'Y'
2. Famale have two 'X' chromosomes in their cells (XX) whereas male have on eX and one" Y' chromosomes in their cells (XY) .
3 All the gametes produced by woman (ovum) will be with only X chromosomes.
4. The gametes produced by man (sperm) will be of two types one with X chromosomes and other Y chromosomes.
5. If the sperm carries X chromosome and fertillizes the ovum, the resultant baby will have XX condition. So the baby will be a girl.
6. If the sperm carries y chromosome and fertillzes the ovum, the resultant baby will have Xy condition. So the baby will be a boy,
7. So thye gamete produced by the male is the deciding factor for sex determination of the baby.
