If the theory of inheritance of acquired characters proposed by Lamarck was correct,
1. All the organisms which lost some of their body parts shoud give birth to the offsprings without the lost parts
2 Rat which lost their tail should give birth to tail less rats.
3. A handicapped who lost their legs in an accident should give birth to bables without legs
4. The evolution would have happened more quickly.
5. This results in a much greater diversity of species in a much shorter time.
6. But all these are not happening because bodily changes won't be passe to its offspring.
