Pesticides are the toxic chemicals which are used to destroy pests. They not only disturb the ecosystemm but also pollute the soil. To prevent soil pollution caused by pesticides following programmes should be implemented.
I. Rotatino of crops.
II. biological pest control
III. Development of genetic resistant strains.
I. Rotation of crops:
Same crop should not be grownn in the samme field in successive seasons.
II. Biological pest control:
In this method pests are controlled by some biolgical processes, instead of using chemical pesticides.
III. Development of genetic resistant strains.
Nowdays using genetic enginnering pest resistant strains are being produced.
