For an exothermic reaction, what happens...

For an exothermic reaction, what happens to the equilibrium constant if temperature is raised?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In the equilibrium if temperature is raised the exothermic reaction (forward reaction) decreases while the backward reaction (endothermic reaction) takes place more.
so `K_(c)` decreases.
