Write a few lines on the utility of hydrogen as a fuel.

Hydrogen releases large quantity of heat energy on combustion. Hence it is widely used as industrial fuel. Moreover the pollutants released in the combusition of hydrogen torches are used for welding and cutting metals. Hydrogen is also used as rocket fuel. It is also used in fuel cells for generating electric energy. On combination with carbon monoxide (water gas) it is used as industrial fuel.
