Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Sodium peroxide when dissolved in water in dilute solution gives hydrogen peroxide but in concentrated solution gives oxygen.
`Na_(2)O_(2) + 2H_(2)O to 2NaOH + H_(2)O_(2)` (in dilute solution)
`2Na_(2)O_(2) + 2H_(2)O to 4NaOH + O_(2)` (in concentrated solution).
