`PbCl_2` reacts with `Cl_2` to give `PbCl_4`.

In `PbCl_2` lead is in `+2` oxidation state. Chlorine is a good oxidising agent and can oxidise `Pb^(2+)` to `Pb^(4+)`. So `PbCl_2` can react with `Cl_2` forming `PbCl_4`.
