An object reaches other end of a diameter in a circular path of radius 7m in 7s. Find speed and velocity of the object ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Radius of circular path ( r) = 7m, time (t) = 7s
The distance covered by object in half revolution = `pir=22/(cancel(7))xxcancel(7)=22m`
So speed of object = `("Distance")/("Time")=22/7m//s`.
Displacement = Diameter = `2xx7` = 14 m
`therefore` Velocity = `("displacement")/("time")=(cancel(14))/(cancel(7))=2m//s`.
