Why is atom stable ?...

Why is atom stable ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In an atom the number of protons in the nucleus is equal to the number of electrons out side the nucleus. Hence the positive and negative charges in the atom are equal. So, atom is electrically neutral. So, atom is stable. But the stability of atom was explained by Neils Bohr in a different why.
