How do you appreciate Mendeleeff for his great contribution in the prepartion of modern periodic table ?

Explanation

1 ) Mendeleff arranged the elements known at the time in a chart in a systematic order in the increasing order of their atomic weights .
2) First he dived all the elements into periods and groups.
3 ) Mendeleeff explained the similarities of elements in the same group in terms of their common 'Valency ' .
4 ) He stated the periodic law .
5 ) The law states that the physical ans chemical properties of the elements are periodic functions of their atomic weights ".
6 ) Mendeleeff believed that some new elements would be discovered later
7 ) He corrected the atomic masses of Beryllium Indian and Gold .
8 ) AT the time of mendeleeff , electons were not discovered .Even then hte periodic table was able to provide a Scientific base for the study of elements.
9 ) In his honour the `101^(th ) ` element was named Mendelevium .
10 ) He classified maxium elements and prepared almost correct periodic table .
So . I appreciate the efforts of the Mendeleeff in the preparatio of a periodic table .
