Let the distance is `d` km.
Let speed of streamer is `v` km/h.
So, speed at downstream will be `v+3` km/h and speed at upstream will be `v-3` km/h.
`:. d/(v+3) =9` and `d/(v-3) = 11`
`=>d = 9v+27` and `d = 11v-33`
Therefore, `9v+27 = 11v-33 => 2v = 60 => v = 30`km/h
`:. d = 9(30)+27 = 297km`
So, the distance between the points is `297 km`.
