Force and electromotive force are different physical quantities-explain.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to the definition force =work+displacement and electromotive force=amount of electrical energy + quantity of charge transferred. Here work done and electrical energy are same physical quantities, their units and dimensions are same . But clearly displacement and amount of charge are different physical quantities So,force and electromotive forces are two different physical quantities.
