For n number of resistors of magnitude r connected in parallel, the equivalent resistance in R. What will be the value of the equivalent resistance when they are connected in series?
Or, show that if n identical conductors are joined in series, the combined resistance is `n^2` times as great as when they are joined in parallel.

According to the question
`1/R=1/r+1/r+1/r+…` upto n terms
or, `1/R=n/r`or ,`R=r/n`
In series combination equivalent resistance
`R'=r+r+r+….`up to n terms
`=nr=n^2.r/n=n^2R`
