p(x)=x^3-4x...

`p(x)=x^3-4x`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`p(x) = x^3-4x`
`p(x) = 0`
`:. x^3-4x = 0`
`=>x(x^2-4) = 0`
`=>x = 0 or x^2 - 4 = 0`
`=>x = 0 or x = +-2`
So, possible values of `x` are `0,2,-2`.
