There are `({:(4), (2):}) = (4*3)/(2) = 6` ways of selecting 2 men of 4 and `{:((7), (2)):} = (7*6)/(2) = 21` ways of selecting 2 women of 7 . Therefore , there are `{:((4), (2)) ((7),(2)) = 6*21 = 126` ways of selecting a committee consisting of 2 men and 2 women .
