The focal length of object glass of a mi...

The focal length of object glass of a microscope is `0.02` m, that of the eye-piece is `0.04` and distance between them is `0.20`m. What is the distance of the object from the object glass when the image seen by the eye is `0.25`m from the eye-piece? Calculate also the magnifying power of the microscope.

The focal lengths of the objective and the eyepiece of a compound microscope are 1.0 cm and 5.0 cm respectively. An object, placed at a distance of 1.1 cm from the objective, has its final image formed at a distance of 25 cm from the eye. Find the magnifying power of the microscope.

A compound microscope has an objective of focal length 2 cm and eye-piece of focal length 5 cm. The distance between the two lenses is 25 cm. If the final image is at a distance of 25 cm from the eye-piece, find the magnifying power of the microscope. What would be the magnifying power if the microscope were reversed ?

The focal lengths of the objective and the eye-piece of an astronomical telescope are 0.25 m and 0.025 m, respectively.
