A boat is moving directly away from a gun on the shore with speed `v_(1)`. The gun fires a shell with speed `v_(2)` at anangle of elevation `alpha` and hits the boat. Prove that the distance of the boat from the gun at the moment it is fired is given by:
`(2v_(2) sin alpha)/(g) (v_(2) cos alpha - v_(1))`
