If R is the maximum range of the jet that is produced when the bowl is connected to the nose of a fire engine, show that the portion of the wall that is hit by the jet of water is bounded by a parabola whose height is `((R^(2)-d^(2)))/(2R)` and breadth is `2sqrt(R^(2)-d^(2))`.
