The slope of the line can be found by selecting any two points `(x_1, y_1)` and `(x_2, y_2)` on the line and then dividing the difference of the y-coordinates `(y_2 – y_1)` by the difference of the x-coordinates `(x_2 – x_1)`. Using the points `(-6, -27/5)` and `(9,3/5)` , the slope is `(3/5-(-27/5))/(9-(-6))=(30/5)/15`. This can be rewritten as `6/15` , which reduces to `2/5`. Any of the following equivalent expressions can be gridded as the correct answer: 2/5, .4, .40, .400, 4/10, 8/20.
