A stationary source is emitting sound at a fixed frequency `f_(0)`, which is reflected by two cars approaching the source. The difference between the frequencies of sound reflected from the cars is `1.2%` of `f_(0)`. What is the difference in the speeds of the cars (in km per hour) to the nearest integer ? The cars are moving at constant speeds much smaller than the speed of sound which is `330 ms^(-1)`.

A car emitting sound of frequency 500 Hz speeds towards a fixed wall at 4(m)/(s) . An observer in the car hears both the source frequency as well as the frequency of sound reflected from the wall. If he hears 10 beats per second between the two sounds, the velocity of sound in air will be

A stationary source emits the sound of frequency f_0 = 492 Hz. The sound is reflected by a large car approaching the source with a speed of 2 ms^(-1) . The reflected signal is received by the source and superposed with the original. What will be the beat frequency of the resulting signal in Hz? (Given that the speed of sound in air is 330 ms^(-1) and the car reflects the sound at the frequency it has received).

A fixed source of sound emitting a certain frequency appears as f_(a) when the observer is apporoaching the source with upsilon_(0) and f_(r) when the observer recedes from the source with the same speed. The frequency of source is

The difference between the apparent frequency of a source of sound as perceived by an observer during its approach and recession is 2% of the natural frequency of the source. Then the speed of the source will be

A source of sound is travelling towards a stationary observer. The frequency of sound heard by the observer is 25 % more than the actual frequency. If the speed of sound is v , that of the source is
