Now consider that the above sample of 12 g of Helium, at its final temperature 227^(@)C, C, is contained in a container X. Another container Y has also Helium at the same temperature and pressure as in container X but container Y has three times the volume of container X. Assuming that Helium in both containers behaves as an ideal gas, answer these questions. Root mean square speed of the gas molecules in container Y will be -

Two closed containers of equal volume of air are initially at 1.05xx10^(5) Pa, and 300 K temperature. If the containers are connected by a narrow tube and one container is maintained at 300 K temperature and other at 400 K temperature. Find the final pressure in the containers.

Internal energy of the gas in container Y will be -

In two containers X and Y same gas is filled. If the pressure, volume and absolute temperature of gas in X are three times as compared to that in Y and if the mass of X is mg , the mass of Y is

Two identical containers A and B have frictionaless pistons. They contain the same volume of an ideal gas at the same temperature. The mass of the gs in A is m_(A) and that B is m_(B) . The gas in each cylinder is now allowed to expand isothermally to double the intial volume. The chages in the pressure in A and B are fopund to be Delta and 1.5Deltap respectively.

A container having volume V contains N atoms of a gas X. 2 N atoms of another gas Y is injected into the container and temperature is raised to T and maintained constant. At this temperature the atoms of X and Y combine to form molecule X_(2) Y. Find the pressure inside the container after the reaction is completed
