the zeroes of quedratic polynomiac p(x)= `6x^2+mx+2n` are -3/2 and 4/3 evaluate the value of m and n .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`p(x) = 6x^2+mx+2n`
Here, sum of zeroes ` = -m/6`
Product of zeroes ` = (2n)/6 = n/3`
`:. -m/6 = -3/2+4/3`
`=>-m/6 = (-9+8)/6 = -1/6`
`=> m = 1`
Also, `n/3 = -4/3**3/2`
`=>n/3 = -2`
