( c) Numerous tube like glands are present in the wall of small intestine which secrete intestinal juice into the intestinal lumen. This juice contains a number of enzymes like enterokinase, aminopeptidases, dipeptidases, maltase, lactase, lipase etc. for digesting various types of food. On the other hand, the enzymes RNAse and DNAse are present in the pancreatic juice. These enzymes are secreted by the pancreas and are drained into the small intestine via Hepato pancreatic duct.
