(a)The different types of RNA are (i) Messenger RNA (mRNA) (ii) Transfer RNA (tRNA) (iii) Ribosomal RNA (rRNA).
(b) Functions :
(i) mRNA : It carries the codon or the genetic information present in the DNA what type of protein is to synthesized in the cell.
(ii) tRNA : It binds with the specific amino acid and carries it to the ribosomes according to the anticodon which it bears.
(iii) rRNA : It is the constituent of ribosomes. It helps tRNA and mRNA in the synthesis of proteins over the ribosomes.
